B. C. Cornish

bc-cornishB.C. Cornish was a Senior attorney at Johnston Legal Group and has recently joined Brown, Proctor & Howell. Ms. Cornish has practiced law for over 30 years and focuses on probate, guardianship and family law matters. She also has extensive experience in personal injury & employment law.

Ms. Cornish is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and she received the highest possible rating of 10 by AVVO. She has received numerous awards and has been designated as a Top Attorney by Fort Worth, Texas Magazine in 2009 through the present.

Ms. Cornish graduated from law school from the University of Texas, where she also received a Master’s degree in Public Affairs, with a thesis on “Time-of-Day Rate Structuring Specifically as it Affects Low-Income Texans.” She has given numerous presentations on topics of employment law, family law and social issues.

Prior to joining Johnston Legal Group, Ms. Cornish founded the Law Office of B.C. Cornish & Associates in Fort Worth in 1982. She is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, a Sustaining Charter Member of the Tarrant County Bar Foundation, and an Emeritis Member of the Eldon B. Mahon Inn of Court.
