sheryl-normanSince 1994, Sheryl Norman has defended Class I railroads, short-line railroads, rail switching companies, and rail employee transportation companies in grade crossing, FELA and trespasser litigation. Ms. Norman has defended numerous cases involving multiple fatalities, paralysis, traumatic amputation, and brain damage. In addition to representing railroads at the trial and appellate level in state and federal courts across Texas she has handled an array of other cases involving personal injury and property damage.

Ms. Norman is a member of the State Bar of Texas, The Bar Association of the Federal Fifth Circuit, the Houston Bar Association, and of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel. She has been named to the College of the State Bar of Texas, an honorary society for lawyers, for completing at least double the required hours of continuing legal education each year. In 2013 Ms. Norman was elected as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, the largest charitably funded bar foundation in the nation. Ms. Norman practices primarily out of the firm’s Houston office.
